![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe not one of the worst objectively but fir anyone who has played 3D Land it will most likely fall flat because it feels so similar to 3D Land but doesn't do it as well. The 3D World tried to replicate it and kinda failed monumentally, being both forgettable in comparison to 3D Land and just odd because Bowser was a cat. The first phase is just a kinda expected step up from the previous boss fights, trying to get to the switch, but after that it ramps up and becomes an awesome climb to the top culminating in a dash to the end which feels like will punish any missteps. The boss fight, however, is definitely regarded as one of the best because, like Galaxy, it feels epic. That's not to say it's bad, it's still brilliant but it's up against pretty stiff competition. This is possibly the least loved 3D Mario game (generally) on account of every other one being regarded as phenomenal except 3D World, which is still brilliant and thought of as a step up from 3D Land. I'll skip over Galaxy 2 for now and talk about 3D Land. The fact that is has three stages of the fight, the music being so epic, just the way the boss fight pans out, it all feels pretty good and a great climax to such a fantastic game. Sunshine, however, seems to often be noted for having a pretty bad final boss.īut for the rest, I would say that Galaxy has a damn good final boss. ![]() I have seen the other two and 64 looks hard but otherwise not particularly mind blowing but I have seen it regarded highly so I may very well be wrong. OK, I haven't played 64 or the boss of Sunshine so I can only judge what I have played. ![]()
